Acadiana Legal Services Corporation refers cases to the Lafayette Bar Foundation Pro Bono Project for placement with a volunteer attorney. Every year, Pro Bono Project receives over 100 cases through this referral process. Most of the cases referred are family law matters, bankruptcies, and simple successions. To apply for free legal services, please contact Acadiana Legal Services Corporation at (337)237-4320. Eligibility for service is based on gross income (generally 125% of the national poverty guidelines) and in relation to family size, assets, and case type. If Acadiana Legal Services Corporation accepts your case, you may be referred to Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers for placement with a volunteer attorney.
